BEWARE: Fraudulent Marshland Phone Calls

BEWARE!!!! Marshland Credit Union members may receive phone calls from someone “claiming” to be from the fraud department regarding transactions that may be suspicious or that their debit card may be blocked. These are fraudulent calls in which the callers are hoping that members will enter their debit card number by using their phone’s keypad when prompted to verify personal information.

MARSHLAND WILL NEVER ask for members to provide this information. Nor will any other legitimate organization! NEVER provide this information to anyone either over the phone or through an email. Marshland is investigating this matter and request that any information you may be able to provide regarding these calls may be helpful with our investigation, such as what number the fraudster was calling from or which phone/mobile service provider you use.
